Bedroom Occupancy Requirement
2-Bedroom Units
In accordance with the City of Jersey City affordable housing guidelines, two-bedroom units must be fully occupied and may not include an unused bedroom.
Who Is Not Eligible
As such, two-bedroom apartments are reserved for households that require the full unit size. Single individuals or couples without additional household members are NOT eligible for placement in a two-bedroom unit.
Who Is Eligible
Eligible households include: single parents with at least one child, families of three or more persons, or households consisting of three adults.
